– The McKinnon’s Gift Card is a pre-paid card that works similar to a gift certificate and can be used to purchase merchandise at any McKinnon’s Supermarket. It’s more convenient than giving cash or a paper gift certificate. It makes a great gift!
What can my McKinnon’s Gift Card be used for?
– Gift Cards are redeemable for all merchandise at all McKinnon’s Markets locations.
Are McKinnon’s Gift Cards redeemable for cash?
– Although they are used like cash, gift cards can only be used for merchandise.
How do I use a McKinnon’s Gift Card?
– A McKinnon’s Gift Card is simple to use. Upon swiping at the register, it deducts the order amount from the card. You can use it to purchase merchandise at any McKinnon’s Supermarket.
Can anyone use my McKinnon’s Gift Card?
– Yes. Treat the card as you would treat cash. You may use it yourself, or give it to anyone you choose.
What happens to my unused balance on my McKinnon’s Gift Card?
– Unused balances are kept on the the card until depleted by purchases. See details below for more information.
Can my McKinnon’s Gift Card be used as a credit or debit card?
– No. Though they look similar to credit or debit cards, they can only be used for McKinnon’s Markets merchandise.
How do I check the remaining balance on my McKinnon’s Gift Card?
– Gift card balances can be checked at any McKinnon’s cash register.*
I own a business and I would like to purchase McKinnon’s Gift Cards for my customers and employees. Do you sell McKinnon’s Gift Cards to businesses?
– Yes.
*Cards can be used to purchase merchandise at any McKinnon’s Markets locations (Everett, Danvers Wilmington MA and Salem, Portsmouth NH). Card is not redeemable for cash. Card cannot be replaced if lost or stolen. Card is not a credit card or debit card. No cash back for unused balance. To obtain current balance, check your sales receipt, or see any cashier at any register. After 12 months of non-use, a service fee of $2 per month will be deducted from the remaining balance on the card, except where prohibited by law.
