We didn't use cheese and never missed it. I have tried it without bacon and it's still rgeat and lowers the fat content.

My daughter, who is trying not to eat alot of meat, went back for seconds. Jack Stack BBQ Sauce was my choice with this sandwich and it was yummo!

I added just a little brown sugar to flavor the sauce and this dish was excellent.

Ok this was excellent. Did not miss having a thick heavy sauce. After I mixed the sausage and tomato mixture into the pasta, I could not believe how tasty it was.
